Issue Position: Changing Washington's Toxic Environment

Issue Position

Date: Jan. 1, 2020

Congress is broken. Just when you think it can't get any worse or they can't stoop lower, they do. The Democrats cheered the $32 million Mueller investigation. As soon as it was over, House Democrats launched their own costly investigation. All of it with one goal: IMPEACHMENT.

Instead of addressing the pressing issues facing our nation like opioid addiction, prescription drug cost, high taxes and lawlessness, Democrats have wasted millions investigating the President, all because they didn't like the outcome of an election. Speaker Nancy Pelosi sat on the USMCA trade deal for a year because she didn't want to give the President a win. She only allowed a vote as a negotiated agreement to pass articles of impeachment.

I decided to run for Congress because I believe we are never going to change the toxic environment in Washington, until we start changing the people we send there. The more time people spend in Washington the more entrenched they become in the swamp. They lose their focus on getting something done for the people that elected them. That's why I'm a strong supporter of term limits and have signed the U.S. Term Limits Pledge.
